lately, the question i get asked the most is...

“so really, what’s with the whale?”

and my answer? honestly, i have no idea, friends. i’m just as clueless as you are. we’re all figuring it out together 🩵. what i can tell you is that these whales have been adorably following me around, guiding me to places, keeping me moving 24/7, and passing on important messages they want me to share with you all.

the most recent message came while i was in chicago for a work offsite, where i happened to be celebrating my 30th birthday (🥳). and, guess what? the whales found me again. our finance team (surprise 😘—my double life) gathered in chicago, so excited after being virtual slack and zoom buddies for so long. but as soon as we arrived, the city greeted us with a crummy downpour ☔️. the thoughtfully curated team activities were rained out, cancelled, or just didn’t go as planned.. and yet, somehow, we ended up at the shedd aquarium. the first creatures to greet us there were the white beluga whales, and they had a pretty grand message for me.

throughout the entire trip, they showered me with lovely surprises—unexpected messages and a true celebration of life. their message—and their sweet way of celebrating me—was a gentle thank you for the journey they're about to take me on as your human-whale messenger for life, via 🌬️ the airy thing.

you’ve found the airy thing, and the whales found you, exactly when it was meant to be. what i love most about these whales is their compassion and patience. how gentle these creatures are in their way of communication continues to blow 🤯 my 🤯mind 🤯🩵.

my teacher always says this, and it’s what the whales want me to share with you:

there’s no forcing, no rushing, no pushing.

only allowing, breathing, feeling, seeing, and believing.

that’s the message.
